Breman was Resident Director at the National and Kiln Theatre and was awarded a scholarship by the Lir Academy's MFA Playwriting programme at Trinity College, Dublin. He has led workshops for young people with NT Learning and in prisons with Synergy theatre.
He has read and assessed work for the National, Kiln Theatre, Lyric Theatre Belfast, Soho Theatre and Leeds Playhouse.
He was awarded the Sunday Times Playwriting Award and the Directors Guild Award for Best Director and has directed work at venues across the UK, including the Pleasance Courtyard Edinburgh and Lyric Theatre Belfast. As an Associate, he has worked on productions at Kiln Theatre, Birmingham REP, Watford Palace and Leeds Playhouse.
